Our newest addition to the Kismet family is Tic Tok!!! When Tyler passed away in July of 2008 we knew at some point we would want to add another terrier to our family. After some research we decided a border terrier was the breed for us. After much searching and talking to several wonderful breeders we were lucky enough to find Debby Pomeroy of Otley border Terriers in Arizona. So in February of 2010 Vincent and I went to pick up our new puppy! (Vincent named her all by himself - not bad for 3 years old) We are so excited to have another terrier in our lives and can’t wait to watch her grow up! |

JUNE 2010 - Ticker went to her first show in Edmonton at NACA June 4 - 6th. Having just had her 6 month birthday on Thursday June 3rd, Tic Tok took Winner’s Bitch on Friday for 2 points, and Best of Winners/Best of Opposite Sex over specials on Saturday for 3 points - and Best Puppy in Group!! On Sunday she took Reserve Winners Bitch at the Terrier specialty! Not a bad weekend for a puppy just a few days over her 6 month Birthday. She was handled so wonderfully and lovingly by her “Uncle Larry” - Larry Clark. Thanks for all your hard work over the weekend - I think we are going to have fun with our little girl! She already has a fan club because she is SO cute, but with a personality to match!!! JULY 2010 - Tic Tok goes to her second show at Evelyn Kenny Kennel and Obedience Club and takes Best Puppy in Breed, Best of Winners all 3 days and Best of Opposite Sex all 3 days to finish her Canadian Championship - and makes the cut in puppy group 2 days! All at 7 months old! AUGUST 2010 - Tic Tok makes her debut as a Special at the Alberta Kennel Club summer show - this is the LARGEST outdoor show in Canada. She takes Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy all 3 days, plus Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy at the All Alberta Terrier Club Specialty and takes a Puppy Group on Monday!!! This is just 2 days after she turns 8 months old...all with her tail waggin’ and her fan club growing! FALL 2010 - After going to two BC shows in late Aug and September Tic Tok now has to her credit 7 Best of Breed wins, 8 Best of Opposite Sex wins, 15 Best Puppy in Breeds and 3 Pest Puppy in Group Wins… Oct 22 - 24th we head to Camrose where she takes Best of Breed all 3 days (total now 10), Best Puppy in the Terrier Group all 3 days - and 2 Group 4 placements in the Terrier Group!!! She is now the #13 Border in Canada and the #4 Border Puppy! We are SOOOO proud of our girl! But most importantly she is now doing Junior Handling with Vincent and having A LOT of FUN!!! She then heads to the Red Deer and Lethbridge shows and picks up 3 more Bests of Opposite Sex wins, 3 more Best of breed Wins, 6 more Best Puppy in Breed Wins and 2 more Best Puppy in Group Wins...she also gets 2 legs to her Rally Novice Obedience Title and goes in the ring with another Junior for Junior handling. Nov 2010 - Tic Tok heads to the last Show of the Year at the Calgary Kennel and Obedience Club. She leaves the weekend with 2 BEST PUPPY IN SHOW WINS!!! Plus 2 Group 4th Placements and 3 Best Puppy in Group Wins - plus her Rally Novice Obedience Title. She ends the year as the #1 Border Terrier Puppy in Canada, #6 Border Terrier in Canada, #6 Terrier Puppy in Canada! I am so proud of my little “brown dog”! |
