Meena now moves on to her next assignment (should she choose to accept it)….. Obedience.  Meena’s first weekend out in the Obedience ring at the AKC show in August 2005 she came home with her first leg towards her Companion Dog title - one down two more to go!  She also took her CGN test at the AKC show and passed that with flying colors.  It was a busy weekend and Meena showed how much class she has - and the whole time her tail was wagging!!! At the 2005 Great Dane Club of Canada Western Division Regional Specialty Meena takes the Award of Merit out of 50 exhibitors!!!  She had FANTASTIC compliments from the judge and spectators alike.  She then heads over to the obedience ring and gets a score of 188.5 and her second leg towards her CD title!!! 

June 2009 - Meena takes the Best Brood Bitch award at the 2009 Great Dane Club of Canada National Specialty… a special thanks to judge Judy Harrington for appreciating our very special girl - and her beautiful kids.

March 2009 - Meena comes back to the Rally ring after taking a few months off and gets her Rally Excellent Title - at 5 1/2 years young she shows that Danes can keep working!!

July 2008 - Meena moves up to the Rally advanced Ring and once again gets her title in just 3 trials!  She then moves up to the Rally Excellent Ring and gets her first leg to her RE with a 4th in class placement!  Way to go Beaner!

February 2008 - Meena is back in action….after a break from showing to be a mom - Meena comes back with a vengeance.  She obtained her Rally Novice Obedience title in just three trials - Now spayed she is working on her Open Obedience work, Advanced Rally work and Agility.  This girl just never stops!!!  And loves every minute of it!

September 2006 - Meena passes her PALS (Pet Access League Society) interview and will now start visiting local hospitals, hospices etc. to visit with patients!!!!!

WOW!!! - Meena wins the Great Dane Club of Canada Western Division Obedience Dog of the Year for 2005!!!!!

Oct 8, 2005 Meena obtains her CD Title!!!  At the Working/Herding Specialty show held in Red Deer, Meena obtains the third and final leg towards her Companion Dog obedience Title!!!  And in just 3 show weekends!!!!  And all with her tail wagging and her fan club watching!!!!

Temperament, personality and good looks, backed up 100% with an outstanding pedigree that showcases many Canadian, American, European and Australian Champions is what we have in Meena, the foundation of Kismet Great Danes. Meena’s phenomenal temperament, beautiful steel blue color and fantastic movement are all attributes that we are hoping to pass on to the generations to come.  We are very excited by what the future holds and the legacy that is to be born of Meena.

Meena’s run to obtain her Canadian Championship culminated in an impressive weekend taking Best of Winners 3 out of 3 days and at just 14 months of age for 7 points.  Meena was owner handled for all the points towards her championship.

Fast forward to May 27, 2005 where Meena goes to her first show as a special and takes her first Best of Breed win in at the Northland Kennel Club show under judge Flora Mackenzie.  Meena now has 5 Best of Breed wins to her credit, as well as 6 Best of Opposite wins - the Judges for the remaining 4 Best of Breed wins are: Betty McHugh, Edgar Bajona, Fred Dewsbury and Alice Davis.  Meena also received an Award of Merit from breeder judge Donna Conod at the 2005 Great Dane Club of Canada Western Division Specialty Show with over 50 exhibitors.
